‘Aloha k kou: welcome to all’

There will be an Enlisted Spouses’ Club social Tuesday at 7 p.m., at the OSC/ESC Building, off Pendleton Avenue, near the DuPont Gate.

Summertime brings out the spirit of Hawaii, even here in the great Northwest. Come out for the ESC luau — don’t forget your coconut bikini and hula skirt.

Bring your favorite luau-inspired dish, whether it’s kebabs off the barbecue, Hawaiian pizza, a macadamia nut cream pie, or just fresh-cut pineapple.

We are going to have a great time together, even if there is no tiki hut in Washington to party under. Bring a friend — the more, the merrier.

Job fair There will be a job fair sponsored by Fort Lewis Employment Readiness Service Sept. 18, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. in the ACS Annex, Building 2166 on Liggett Avenue at 12th Street (across from Waller Hall). Meet local employers and have the opportunity to job interview.
