Holiday season a time for celebration, family

Cindy and I would like to wish you and your Families a joyous holiday season and a very happy New Year. This is a time for family, celebration and generosity.

As we reflect on the past year and the tremendous service each of our Soldiers, Airmen, DOD civilians and their Families have made, we are compelled to count our blessings and be thankful.

We are thankful for the tremendous courage, professionalism and above all, dedication to duty from our servicemembers and their Families. It is an honor and privilege to serve with you and be a part of I Corps and to call the Pacific Northwest and the JBLM community our home. I believe we share the common values of selflessness, perseverance and honor. This foundation has given us the strength and focus to support our deployed units, Soldiers, Airmen and their Families.

For those with loved ones currently deployed this holiday season please know that your Soldiers’ contribution to our country will not be forgotten. Each day their bravery is directly impacting the safety of our homeland and protecting America from violent extremists.

May you and your loved ones be blessed with health, happiness and prosperity this holiday season.
