A Victorian Country Christmas
When: Wednesday, Nov. 28, to Sunday, Dec. 2. Doors open daily at 10 a.m.
Where: Puyallup Fair & Events Center, Puyallup
What: Largest Christmas festival of its kind in the Northwest with more than 530 vendors. Enjoy free entertainment in the Victorian Opry Theaters. Ride the Santa Tram, a fun-filled ride through a wonderland of lights. Get photos with Santa or relax in our winter wine garden. Admission is $7 with a military ID, $8 for seniors over 62 and students ages 6 to 18; kids 5 and under are free. Free parking.

What: In its 18th year, Fantasy Lights has dazzled viewers with new themes and yearly additions to the largest drive-through display of lights in the Northwest. The beautiful two-mile drive takes place in Spanaway Park. Cost is $13 per car or van, $28 per mini bus (16 to 24 passengers) or $45 per bus carrying 25 or more passengers. Zoolights at Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium
When: Nov. 23 to Jan. 1, 2013, daily from 5 to 9 p.m.
Where: 5400 North Pearl Street, Tacoma
What: Bundle up and stroll the zoo as it comes aglow with more than a half-million lights. See breathtaking light displays of ice-skating puffins, playful tiger cubs, the massive flame tree and the new Giant Pacific Octopus. Watch Santa scuba-dive with the sharks, ride an Arabian camel or take a spin on an antique carousel like your grandparents rode as children. Admission is $7.25 for adults and children 3 and older; children 2 and younger are free. Free parking.
Christmas Open House at Prairie House Museum
When: Sunday, Dec. 2, 1 to 3 p.m.
Where: 812 East 176th St., Spanaway.
What: Come see an 1890s farmhouse all decorated for the holidays. Free fresh baked cookies for visitors. This is a free event.
First Annual Old General Store Christmas Bazaar
When: Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 8 and 9, 10 a.m.
Where: Old General Store Steakhouse and Saloon, Roy
What: A talented group of vendors will be selling their handcrafted items. Santa will be available to pose for pictures with the kids. Hourly raffle giveaways of goods from our vendors for individuals who bring either a new unwrapped toy or nonperishable food item. Free admission and parking. Call 459-2124 for more details.
