Fantasy Lights

When: Through Jan. 1, nightly from 5:30 to 9 p.m.

Where: Spanaway Park, Spanaway

What: In its 18th year, Fantasy Lights has dazzled viewers with new themes and yearly additions to the largest drive-through display of lights in the Northwest. The beautiful two-mile dive takes place in Spanaway Park. Cost is $13 per car or van, $28 per mini bus (16 to 24 passengers) or $45 per busy carrying 25 or more passengers. Winter Wildland

When: Dec. 26 through Jan. 1

Where: Northwest Trek

What: Visitors will see animals throughout the park and enjoy fun, winter-themed enrichments. This event is part of Northwest Trek’s animal husbandry program to help enrich the lives of the animals, encourage natural animal behavior and keep the animals mentally stimulated. The trams are heated, so the narrated tour of the park’s free roaming area will be toasty warm. Visitors can learn about how animals adapt to winter at the indoor, seasonally themed Cheney Family Discovery Center. Activities are free with park admission. Holiday with Lights

When: Through Jan. 1, nightly from 6 to 10 p.m. Park is closed Dec. 24 and 25.

Where: Wild Waves Theme Park, 36201 Enchanted Pkwy. S., Federal Way

What: More than 1 million lights decorate rides and attractions at the 70-acre amusement park. Start the holiday celebration on one of your favorite rides, explore the glow of the dazzling lights, visit Santa at the North Pole, and enjoy the sounds of the season at one of the entertainment shows. Tickets, which include admission to rides, are $14.99 plus tax for adults and can be purchased at Wild Waves or online at www.wildwaves.com. There is a military discount of $2. Ivar’s Clam Lights

What: One of the largest regional holiday lighting displays is Ivar’s Clam Lights located off the shores of Lake Washington in the city of Renton.
