LeMay Wine and Chocolate Affair

When: Friday and Saturday, April 26 and 27, 4 - 9 p.m.

Where: Marymount Event Center, 325 152nd Street East, Tacoma

What: The annual LeMay Wine & Chocolate Affair features some of the greatest wineries and chocolatiers in Washington. Guests will enjoy one complimentary wine glass and five wine tasting tokens with admission. Additional wine tasting tokens for $1 each may be purchased at the door. This premier event will feature carefully selected wineries and chocolate and candy vendors, as well as specialty gift vendors. Guests will also have the opportunity to view dozens of vintage vehicles from the LeMay Collection. Minimum age is 21. Free parking is available for the duration of this event. South Sound Wine Trail

What: The South Sound Wine Trail stretches through Lacey, Olympia, and Shelton and includes seven award winning wineries. This self-guided tour offers a unique experience and a variety of wonderful handcrafted wines. Meet the winemakers and owners and gain unique insight into the wines and the methods used to produce them. Enjoy the beautiful scenery and rich history of the South Sound: stop for a stroll around Capitol Lake, enjoy one of the many state parks, or dine in downtown Olympia. Wine and Cheese Tour

When: May 4

What: Enjoy sipping and savoring new wine releases and ciders paired with a variety of cheeses crafted by local artisan creameries. $75. Price includes transportation, event admission and a commemorative glass. Minimum age is 21. Register through WebTrac at or at the Northwest Adventure Center at Lewis North. Chehalis Valley Wine Tour

When: May 4, 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.; May 5, 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.

What: Visit seven boutique wineries, each with its own distinct style. Sample a large variety of wines uniquely created by our local vintners. Start at the winery of your choice to purchase your “Passport” and commemorative wine glass. Enjoy the peaceful countryside of the Chehalis Valley as you make your way to each winery. Wine tasting, hors d’oeuvres, and silent auction to benefit Mary Bridge Childrens Hospital. Passports are good for both days. Admission is $25 at the door; $20 in advance at any participating winery.
