The staff members will answer questions about VA benefits and services, including counseling for military sexual trauma survivors, combat veterans and their families. This is the only VA service authorized to treat active duty service members. The technician and therapist work with the Behavioral Health Clinic at Madigan Army Medical Center and with embedded unit behavioral health personnel.
The VA main office is at 4916 Center Street, Suite E, Tacoma. The Mobile Vet Center makes regular stops in Yelm, Eatonville, Lacey, Port Orchard, Chehalis, Mossyrock and Tenino. It will be in the Poulsbo-Bainbridge Island area Thursday at the Naval Base Kitsap Exchange.
