Rugby tournament part of Freedom Fest
Sports: While there are plenty of things to see and do at the annual Freedom Fest on JBLM Lewis Main. Sports fans can see hard-hitting and fast-paced seven-on-seven rugby during the annual Fort Lewis 7s tournament starting 9:30 a.m. at Watkins Field.

Time to register for youth camps
Youth: There are still openings for a number of youth sports made available through JBLM Child, Youth and School Services and SKIES Unlimited, including Special Olympics, basketball, flag football, soccer, golf, karate and gymnastics.
Children as young as 3-5 can also have fun with the Start Smart Sports Camp July 22-24 and Bumblebee Soccer beginning in August.

Anuual Mud Run scheduled July 19
Races: Get ready to run through the mud in the ninth annual Down and Dirty Mud Run, 10 a.m., July 19, at Soldiers Field House on Lewis Main.
The events theme asks participants to dress as their favorite super heroes as they traverse mud and water on a 5K run. Deadline for registration is noon Wednesday and is $15 for all DOD ID card holders ($25 without).

Races: The entry fee for two of Seafairs athletic events is only $20 each for military service members, starting with the Seafair Triathlon 6:30 a.m. July 20, at Seward Park in Seattle.
