During the last six months, Madigan Licensed Practical Nurse Sarah Hodges was “caught” six times for her willingness to help out wherever needed and usually without being asked. Hodges’ peers at the Puyallup Clinic celebrated her team spirit when they named her the Puyallup Clinic MVP for the October 2016 to April 2017 time frame. She has a number of additional duties, including serving as the first chairperson of the Patient Caring Touch System Unit Practice Council, and she is one of the clinic’s primary trainers for new LPN staff. Hodges freely offers her many years of expertise to make the running of the clinic more professional and a place the staff can all be proud to work. Hodges is pictured with Brig. Gen. Ronald Stephens, deputy commander of Regional Health Command-Pacific, who presented her with a coin.
